Description: One of the best known American deer, thanks to that of Walt Disney's Bambi, which Disney depict that Bambi and his kinfold are the deer, and the story's takes places in USA, which Felix Salten depicted that Bambi and his kinfold are Roe Deer, and the story takes place in the European forests. This deer got its name, from its tail goes up for a retreat, like that of cottontail rabbits. Males are called "bucks," "spikers," "spiked bucks," or "spikehorns." The males can fight each other for their mates and their herd, during springtime. Although they are the most common American deer, we humans can hunt the deer for their antlers, fur, and meat. Besides us humans, the deer got a lot of predators, like jaguars, pumas, alligators, wolves, coyotes, bears, bobcats, wolverines, ravens, and the birds-of-prey.
