Description: We all know that the grizzly is the most best known bear ever known. They used to be the Endangered species, because they are listed as Vulnerable species, because the grizzlies are threatened in the contiguous USA. Grizzlies are native to most parts of Canada, northwestern parts of United States, and all over Alaska and their surrounding islands, including Kodiak Islands. Most of these bears are national mammals in California for example in the flag of California, while the bears are not only that they slowly increase their populations, but they are usually protected by people in these national parks of America. These big bears are solitary, except for the bond between a mother and pups, and a sleuth that can feast in the salmon run. Mexico's grizzlies are extinct since the 1970's, but grizzlies of northern USA and Canada had survived. We had used the bear spray, to prevent the bears for being aggressive. If you don't have a bear spray, but if you had an RV, take your food to you RV, back away real slow so they walk away, or play dead(without passing gas.). We do know that there's grizzly attacks to humans, deadlier, dangerous, but lower rate than the black bear attacks. Even that grizzlies attack the Native Americans, which we know the Native American tribes view these grizzlies as awe and fear. When they show us harm, but without warning, the grizzlies are often said that they are "Campers' Worst Nightmares," but when it is a real animal, it is not a nightmare as urban legends(like Sasquatch, Loch Ness Monster, British Big Cats, etc.). The grizzlies are complete crepuscular, except they can get some rest and hibernation to store fat. Sows can hibernate in the winter, in order to give birth to one or six of her pups. Competitors for the kills are foxes, coyotes, bobcats, eagles, and ravens, but they can share their kills. The enemies of the grizzly, besides other bears who preyed upon the pups, are pumas, wolves, bison, moose, wild sheep, black bears, and even rarely polar bears. Speaking of polar bears, grizzlies are very popular, like in movies(e.g. Disney's Brother Bear, Universal Studios Balto, Open Season, Richard Rich's Alpha and Omega, etc.), TV series(We Bare Bears, Shirokuma Café, Viva Piñata, etc.), games(e.g. Viva Piñata, Zoo Tycoon, Red Dead series, Heroes of Might and Magic, etc.), toys(like teddy bears for example), etc. They are among the largest carnivorans, along with the elephant seal, polar bear, brown bear, tiger, and lion, which the biggest subspecies of grizzly, is the Kodiak Bear(Ursus horibillis middendorfi). Not all grizzlies are brownish, but some bears had variable colors in their furs, from black to dark brown, to cream to white, to yellowish brown and often had darker colors in their legs and even undersides. Most grizzlies had had been grizzled in greyish silver, because of the silvertips, started from their shoulder humps.

That black one on top reminds of the bear from Walt Disney's "The Fox and the Hound".

Yeah, because Disney's and Richard Rich's The Fox and the Hound, did take place in North America, just like the novel made by Daniel P. Mannix.

Bears don't have whiskers or have their fangs show like that.

The way you type confuses me, and it makes me think you don't have a good grasp on the English language. Sorry if I offended you, but that's how I feel.

Yeah I know that. Some people considered grizzlies the same species as brown bears.
