Description: The giant panda is even still the symbol of conservation, but the good news, that this cute and cuddly bear is no longer the Endangered species, due to the fact that their populations are increasing. They are native to a few mountains in central China, mainly in the province of Sichuan. Why pandas are no longer Endangered species? Well, because the giant pandas are now presently Vulnerable species. Most pandas are solitary, except for the mating bonds, or a bond between mother and her pup. They eat mainly 99% of the bamboo, but they also eat wild tubers and grass-like plants, which makes the giant panda an herbivore, not only that it was closely related to a South American spectacled bear(aka Little Bulldog Bear), by their evolutionary traits. Both the giant panda and the lung dragon are both symbols of China, which the panda appears at least as commonly, internationally. While eating a bamboo, the panda had a "thumb" and five fingers, the "thumb" is actually a modified sesamoid bone, to help the panda hold the bamboo. We do know that pandas are easily recognized as one of the most popular animals(along with the lion, the tiger, the bear, the zebra, the elephants, etc.), by their black fur on their arms and legs, ears, shoulders, and eye patches, while the rest is complete white, even the muzzle is either white, graey, or rarely black. Another subspecies of Giant panda, besides the legendary Sichuan Panda(A. m. melanoleuca), was a small species, whom happened to be brownish, which it was Qinling Panda(A. m. qinglingensis). The giant pandas are seen in movies, cartoons, toys, and games. Movies, like Disney's Mulan(which we see a panda ridden by Mushu and Crickey in their disguise as a general's messenger), Dreamworks Kung Fu Panda(including the panda characters, like you know who, Po, for example), and rarely The Swan Princess: A Royal Family Tale(which we see as a toy, and mentioned the real one by Queen Uberta). Cartoons like We Bare Bears(like the character Pan-Pan, or Panda) for example.
