Description: One of the world's smallest species of bear, is the sun bear. They lived in the jungles of Southeast Asia, including the islands of Indonesia. These bears can rest in the nests in the trees, made out of leaves, or in large hollow logs, but they also rest in standing trees with cavities, in cavities underneath fallen logs or tree roots, and in tree branches high above the ground. When surprised, they said that sun bears are even though they are small, but they are fiercer than tigers. In the wild, except for a bond between mother and her pups, they are solitary, but in captivity, the sun bears are very social than their wild counterparts. They had long sticky tongues, like aarwolves, anteaters, aardvarks, and even sloth bears, to eat a lot of termites. Also they have long claws for defense and fighting. Like black, moon, sloth, spectacled bears, and pandas, the sun bears are excellent climbers.
