So I finally watched the entire series of Avatar: The last airbender, and absolutely loved it! Everything about it was genius and now I can't stop going back and re-watching my favorite episodes.

Uncle Iroh was definitely one of my favorite characters, he was so kooky and badass at the same time, its hard NOT to like him! While perusing around the Avatar fandom, I've found that a lot of people theorize he was quite the ladies' man in his day, and looking back on certain scenes, I think they may be on to something.

This doodle was origionally supposed to be just him and one other woman, but somehow two more snuck in while I wasn't looking! The girl in the center is named Hoshi, and she's Iroh's never-mentioned wife when they first met. The other two from left to right are Kame and Nao, who are her friends. Nao not being too fond of Iroh, and Kame just finding the whole thing hilarious. In my head the idea was Iroh's trying to ask her on a date but her friends are making things difficult.

I'd have to say coloring this was the hardest thing of all mostly because I had no idea what color Iroh's armor would be! On top of that it wasn't until I was halfway through coloring his armor that I realized I put him in General armor (which is too high a rank for the age he would be at that time) And then of course everyone had to be in fire nation red, so I had to figure out how to make the girls seperate but still a group. All in all this picture took me three complete days to do.

I drew all my inspiration from [link] who does amazing/spectacular work and even worked with the Avatar team in doing storyboards. CHECK HER OUT!
