Description This is the raw casting of the CRASS ring, I made a collage of the different angles.

This was the first commissioned work I had ever done. It was also the first piece of jewelry I had made since high school in 1991. I think I made this in 2000. I sold a ring I made in high school to this guy on eBay and he commissioned me make him this one. Only talked to him threw e-mail and sent him the pictures of my progress. This is made of solid sterling silver. Very heavy, I told him it would make an awesome ring to wear in a pit (slam dance that is). Crass is an old school punk band now disbanded. This is where I learned how to make the tools I use now to carve the wax.

Not bad at all for a raw casting. I assume centrifugal casting?

Yes I think so, I have to take my stuff to get cast but I would assume that is how they did it. That is how we did it in high school any way.

That's pretty doggone awesome.

(It doesn't hurt that I believe in anarchy and peace, though. )
