Well, it was very difficult to make due to limited tools. I did every thing by hand except for a Drimel, jigsaw, drill, and other various tools. It took me quite awhile to do. Unless I get the right tools I will probably not make frames to sell.
You have a few interesting machines/frames!!!!!

still a great looking machine,I'm lucky enough to make machines for a living,I'm tooled for steel but have no skills with silver ..I'm wondering if we can collaborate on some machines,You might consider creating some silver work (inlays for machine sides),in return I could make some one piece machine blanks for you,I like the idea of that,a Texas/Yorkshire hybrid machine..
all the best,
sid

That sounds cool, but I can not cast. I can cut from silver sheet though. Let me know what you are thinking about!!!!! I would love to have some iron machine blanks to work on!!!!!

I finished it with an acid. I want to go back and either hot oil dip or hot wax dip it to help prevent rust. Sorry It took so long to answer, I just saw your comment, duh. Hot oil dip will darken the metal too and help prevent rust, I wonder if the wax will also, but I doubt it will darken the metal. I got the acid from one of those places that makes those steel ornamental fences.
