Nice work ^^ i think leaving the eyes out was a good idea becuz it just keep you guess what kind of eye expression he has in them, either tense, mad, sad, happy

Precisely... And since they say eyes are the windows to the soul... well what if we didn't have those windows?

It's a lot harder to gauge someone else's feelings then..

Thank you for the comment and the favourite <3

That's what I thought, but I kept trying and even though a lot of the time I just wanted to kick myself for being dumb and persistant, I did it anyways and voila. I got somewhere.
So seriously, if you try hard enough you'll get where you want to be.

I concur. Kissing this guy while getting your hands tangled in his hair is tempting like whoa. MARS is well worth the read, I promise. (Ignore the fact that Ive read only vol. 1.. but idoes it help to say that Im so hooked Im buying the whole series??)

It really does. Now I feel like going to a bookstore right away. I've been really low in new stories anyway lately.. with all the tests we're having. -_-

But yes. Kissing and Mars. Off I go to this quest. And don't think I'll return empty handed, either!

Glad I could be of service in getting this merry quest started. *fans the flames cheerfully* By the way, did I mention the plot is every female artist's secret fantasy??

patchworkmemory In reply to snowcrystal [2004-05-29 16:40:19 +0000 UTC]

Hmm... Well. Not really shounen-ai though Rei does- eh. Oh. You have to read it for yourself. I shant give it away

Good. Good. I, as a loyal reader, hate spoiling. So you just won yourself more points with that.
Haven't, btw, read Rei yet. What a shame.

patchworkmemory In reply to snowcrystal [2004-05-29 17:30:08 +0000 UTC]

*nodnod* I hate it when people spoil things like books or movies. Especially when I was looking foreward to them. A bunch of preppy cheerleader chicks ruined SO many movies for me...

snowcrystal In reply to patchworkmemory [2004-05-29 17:45:33 +0000 UTC]

Aww. I know excaclty what you mean. Even worse is when you see finally so many different trailers that you know excactly what's happening in the movie...

patchworkmemory In reply to snowcrystal [2004-05-31 03:56:01 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I dont get that about cheerleaders...

They put like and uh as every other word in a sentence. Oooor. They're just plain nuts. Like the ones at my school...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

snowcrystal In reply to patchworkmemory [2004-05-31 04:10:00 +0000 UTC]

I don't really have any personal experience about chearleaders, since I've never been to a school with them. All that because my family travels alot, so I get to go to those special languageschool-thingies. Not american, therefore no chearleaders.

But we have girls there too, that I'd definitely rate as ones. They only lack the dondons. Or whatever they are called...

patchworkmemory In reply to snowcrystal [2004-05-31 04:19:19 +0000 UTC]

pom poms? Yeah... its all in the attitude, Most cheerleaders are pretty and stuckup becuase theyre used to the benefits of thier good looks.
The stereotypical cheerleader is, more often than not, a snobby bitch. And unfortunately for my school... thats what weve got. Hurrah!

Hurray for them, then.

Good thing is, You never have to become one. And to some point, they are avoidable.

Now comes the question: Why do they seems so popular even though everyone seems to hate them?

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

patchworkmemory In reply to snowcrystal [2004-05-29 18:07:46 +0000 UTC]

Mmhmm. Or both. thats always the kicker. Mostly becuase you were hoping the cheerleaders were wrong and then it turns out they werent.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

snowcrystal In reply to patchworkmemory [2004-05-31 03:44:09 +0000 UTC]

Oh they never are. No, actually the are, when the movie is about forgotten memories and pain. Then they have to pretend not to understand.

great coloring...eyes takes practice. i still get em wrong. take a sheet and do em over and over in diff styles. it can help.

patchworkmemory In reply to koishii-kitty [2004-05-29 03:59:24 +0000 UTC]

Oh I have no problem with drawing eyes. In fact, theyre easier to draw in the 3 quarter veiw, instead of full on. I was just lazy and didnt draw them. When someone told me I should and I drew them on, they just looked wrong. So I left them off. I like it better this way.

patchworkmemory In reply to deadfrog [2004-05-29 01:26:52 +0000 UTC]

It was. Call it artistic license...

But in all reality, I just didnt want to draw eyes. I tried, but they looked wrong. So Im like: "Ooook....;_; I can deal."
