I haven't drawn something for myself in a long time, so I thought I'd treat myself today and do some character development on my first official Nextgen baby!

I got this design from SoffyStrawberry and I hope you don't mind that I slightly changed one of the hair colors.

Lavender Tea

Occupation: Healer, Herbal Expert, Unprofessional Doctor
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Cis Female
Species: Pegasus
Residence: Ponyville

Biological Parents: Night Glider and Butter Pop
Adoptive Parents: Rainbow Dash and Soarin

Personality:
Lavender is almost always eager to try new things in an attempt to gain knowledge. Though home life isn't exactly up to par (Rainbow has problems of her own) Lavender enjoys every aspect of the world around her- from the flowers to the ponies to the rampaging monsters that destroy the town every Tuesday. She is rarely unkind (even to ponies who don't treat her well) and is always looking to satisfy those who need help.
Lavender is known to have a very calming presence according to friends and ponies who seek her help. Her attentive demeanor and her ability to listen allure those around her, occasionally bringing in admirers from afar who are charmed by her ways.

Cutie Mark:
Lavender's cutie mark is a lavender flower behind a sparkling purple potion. She earned it as a young filly while aiding a younger colt who had been badly injured by bullies. Using her prior knowledge of berries and herbs she whipped up an ointment that could be spread on open wounds, immediately closing the poor colt's cuts to keep infection from spreading. After cleaning up any extra blood and walking him home, she caught a glimpse of herself in a small puddle on the side of the road and caught a glimpse of her cutie mark for the first time.

Little-Known info:
Lavender smells (and has always smelled for as long as ponies can remember) faintly of lavender. Her patients find this to be quite relaxing during more intense visits to her clinic. However, Ponyville constantly buzzes with rumors on why she smells so pleasant; Does she use special shampoo? Does she simply roll around in lavender every day? Was she BORN smelling like that? Only Lavender knows the answer to their questions. (She was born that way- her parents named her lavender because of the way she smelled.)
Lavender was trained in herbal medicine at a young age by none other than Zecora. After wandering into a patch of poison joke in the Everfree forest while looking for rare flowers, she stumbled upon Zecora's hut and was immediately taken in and healed. In awe of Zecora's ability, Lavender came back almost every day after to watch her new idol brew potions and ailments beyond the filly's wildest imaginations. Eventually Zecora allowed Lavender to attend daily lessons to strengthen her knowledge, every day teaching her more and more about the ways of medicine.
If a pony were to somehow, by some miracle (or curse), get on Lavender's bad side, they must be prepared to have their lives transformed into a living hell.
