Let me just say this now, WTF. Seriously, WHAT THE FUCK?! I had artblock so hard I wasn't even doodling, and now THIS?! Why so much ANGST?!
This was making me pull so many distressed faces whilst drawing this. It was horrible, I know the obvious thing is, it's Aziraphale, he'll just get a new corperation. Why is Crowley being all angsty? 'Zira'll be back soon.
No. No, he won't.
He was stabbed with an angelic blade. It's killing him as well as his physical corperation. And they've both just realised this.
Aziraphale: I guess it's inef-
Crowley: If you say it's ineffable, I swear I'm gonna punch you.

yeah, the idea was inspired by the 'final death' inflicted by angel blades a lรก supernatural
lacking a blade of his own since he sauntered downwards, Crowley would throw himself at the angelic legions to avenge Zira, a suicide mission if there ever was one, but without his angel, there wouldn't be much to live for
really, what can a car and some small comforts compare to your only contemporary in millenia?

we also shall take into acount Crowley's behabior in the book: is a guy who keeps going no matter what, some kind of optimistic survivor:
-hell's agents come for him? he uses wholy water.
-Not enough for the two? he lies and manages to scape
-world iscoming to an end? he takes the car.
-The dvil himself comes to fight? he taks a pipe and faces him
...yeah. suicide man not: suicide mission, yep.
by the way you should read a fic called "that's just mean" wich is dramatic and funny with a happy end

Raphael is the angel of healing and knowledge actually. I always picture him as a teaching doctor (there's a university hospital in my town) and he's generally one of the nicer angels in my mind. Also - RAPHAEL -> Aziraphale -> AziRAPHAEL. Raph's probably 'Zira's mentor. Or something. xD
