Rainstar is soothing, gentle, and motherly. She is logical and always has a clear head and tries to do what's right for everyone. She is creative and intelligent, but is easily frustrated because she is a perfectionist. Sometimes she gets into a zone and is too focused to listen. She can be fickle, but when it comes to her clan she is devoted and skillful.

- Upon getting the news of her new role, Rainstar met with her family to see what they would want to do.

- Her friends all followed her to RainClan, and Rainstar quickly realized she was developing feelings for Shadedlily.
- Starting seeing Pipitkit more and more often, growing a bond with her, and decided to mentor her.
- Lazybones started seeing Seastar, and Mistytail became close to Mushroomcall. Rainstar is thrilled.
- Gentlesong became the Medicine Cat Apprentice for SeaClan.
- Shadedlily, Harkencry and Jackalcall all left the island, this really hurt Rainstar.
