Picture this: Chamber of Secrets when our dear and clueless Lockhart asked Snape to act as an assistant to demonstrate how to properly duel to the students. *chuckle* And of course he accepted. Or do you really think he was going to miss the chance to legally hex that pompous git???
Another one from my unfinished folder that I decided to finish. Funny how when you start drawing something and hit a point where you can't finish it, just set it aside for a couple of months and relax, cause one day you will find it in that same folder and finish it - probably in one go - without any problems at all and will wonder why the hell did you have problems with it in the first place!!! *tsc, tsc...*

I always loved that scene in CoS. I'm imagining in my head Lockhart is blithely grinning at Snape at this moment, totally oblivious to the fact that he is so out of his league. I always loved Harry's comment of that scene that if Snape had been looking at him the way he was looking at Lockhart, he'd have been running as fast as he could in the other direction. I think you really captured that, because Snape in this image really conveys a dangerous, not to be trifled with aura here. I certainly wouldn't be messing with him. Good job!

Also, brilliant thought- I picture Snape standing with his back turned to Lockhart, smiling sinisterly to himself and thinking "Oh, you're going to regret this...."

Oh my god. I love it. What really struck me was how long his hair is. It seems like all the Severus pictures I see have him with shoulder length hair, but this just seems so much more right.
