Description
Just some parts of a SS uniform that I own. Still needs much more to be complete, and correct boots. I still need to get a picture with my K98 in it.I am not a Nazi nor do I condone their actions or ideals. I just realy like their uniforms

Military reenactment I always found interesting, though I do prefer up to date practical miltary gear as far as real use and survival situations go. I just like owning strange things lol.

Yeah I was at the surplus shop and I thought about buying one of those Russian officer hats and one of those Chinese red star caps.

Those Russian ones are cool, but then again I have always been atracted to things from the Soviet Union for some reason. Ive been debating whether I should buy one of those blue and white striped Russian under shirts. I just like being connected to history.

An experiment in socialism that failed.
for about 20 years from 1950 to the 70s it was working pretty well, but humanity's weakness caught up with it.

Indeed, it was just their apearance, their music their weapons, and their brute strength that made them so interesting to me.

Russian engineering, brilliant but at the same time a total deathtrap, like the T72 for instance, an awesome new autoloading system.....unfotunately it had a habit of takeing the gunner's arm along with the shell...

Yes true, but it could be mass produced and "Quanity has a quality all it own."
