What an amazing game, I really had fun with it and was excited to do some fan art on the game. One of my favorite features with Infinite is how you can use the Sky-hook to ride these rails through the skylines, it's very addictive, especially in battle. So I wanted to make it a prominent part of this picture, also with his Devils Kiss power in one hand, in my opinion it's the best and most effective power to use

I wanted to try and achieve the vibrant color scheme Bioshock Infinite is known for, it was good to play around with so many colors for a change, and I had to get used to playing around with distance for once too, haven't done that in a while. I hope you all enjoy this piece, and if you haven't yet, go out and give Bioshock a go, it's a bit of a twisted story and makes you wonder a lot but has a good pay off by the end

Enjoy!

Yeah the game was pretty poor and very repetitive-boring in terms of gameplay despite having excellent aesthetics. The enemy's AI was dumb as a bag of potatoes, and too predictable because of the arena rooms which was 3/4 of the current and linear level design. And 1999 mode was pretty much bullshit because of the bulletsponge ennemies coupled with the limited amount of ammunition.

Story was very confusing and hardly make sense (I won't spoil it however). Elizabeth didn't struck me as a memorable character, and was just a walking ammo&salt dispenser in terms of gameplay. Man, I could go list all the bad points for the whole day if I could...

Bioshock Infinite is an over-evaluated game because most people only play AAA games. It's even more terrible when you compare the amazing E3 trailers of Infinite to the actual rushed crap that got released. I've heard the development went into hell because the lack of communication inside the team, and that they took too much time into meaningless things (such as a multiplayer mode).

I still bought the artbook because the concept art is really good and inspiring, but goddamn the game itself was so disappointing.

Wow, I wouldn't go quite that far. I liked the game and Elizabeth, but... There was always something that didn't feel right... uh, difficult to explain. It just wasn't like the first BioShock, which was a brillant masterpiece. And Rapture was a much better setting IMO.

I admit I also prefer the dieselpunk/decopunk side of Bioshock 1-2 than the steampunk of Infinite. But that's just my opinion.

Probably because it wasn't as spooky as the first bioshocks & system shocks. That and the game was pretty much schizophrenic on the setting/themes, and couldn't tell what it exactly wanted to be.

I wouldn't say I hated it, it was a good game but it didn't FEEL like a Bioshock game.

Ultimately there was no CHOICE which was a big part of Bioshock and Bioshock 2.

I admire them for trying new things but with the exception of the Lutece 'twins' the game was rather ... well, it just didn't quite do it for me.

Agree. The different dimensions.. I don't know. BS1 had just genetic manipulation, but different dimensions?

It was a step too far for me and it felt tacked on ...

I'm not sure how exactly but Booker ended up being less interesting then Jack or Delta despite being the only one who spoke more then a few words.

I also found the Songbird was poorly utilised, they could have done a lot more with him.

Original setting, fantastic art direction, focus on story and atmosphere, excellent writing, strong characters, better than average AI and intense, violent, almost doom-esque combat. That's why I like it anyway.

I liked Rapture better. And the combat was like a slap in the face.

Rapture was great as well, but I'd much prefer a developer try something new. If I want to go back to Rapture, I'll play the original Bioshock. But now I have the option of going to Columbia as well, which is a hell of an experience on it's own. As far as combat is concerned, I don't see how the original's was any better. Infinite's combat felt much more refined to me and I felt like I was being encouraged to experiment on the fly. Having Elizabeth around to toss me ammo and health was icing on the cake.

I didn't say I wanted Rapture back. Columbia just doesn't feel like right for Bioshock. It wasn't like Rapture, where I just sat in front of my tv and I was like "OMG"

I was... Personal preferences

Anyway, it's up to the people who created Bioshock as to what is right for it. I'm glad they made the choices they did.

Although I do enjoy the picture, I don't understand why Booker looks like a mad killer. Through out the game it is emphasized that he is just a man who is trying to remove his debt. It says he is not looking for trouble but just wants to get his job done. But thats just something I noticed. Other than that it's a very good picture. I do thoroughly enjoy it.

I'm surprised-- I know you intended it to be Devil's Kiss but save for the flames, you drew Booker using Bucking Bronco. Was that a last minute change? Because the vigors have entirely different effects on Booker's Hands.

I really want to like this piece, but that and Elizabeth's pose really rubs me the wrong way. I know it's probably sexy but it's a really unnatural and uncomfortable looking pose. Considering the direction she's going, she really wouldn't hang that way off the skyline, and definitely doesn't ever look like that in game.

Excellent job! Of the 3 games, Infinite is my favorite. I will always love Rapture, but Columbia just takes the cakeas the city in the sky. Great game, and I have yet to finish it. Murder of Crows, mother*****! Great job on the picture. Vibrant excellent work.

This is really good, and I like everything about this, except for one thing. Elizabeth looks ridiculous. With the way the movement is going, and that you practically forced that T and A pose, it makes her really distracting and looks out of place.

For me it was all about Shock Jockey and Murder of Crows (get them with the Murder and then send lightning into it to make SHOCKING CROWS), but all the Vigors were awesome in their own way. I also loved Skyhook battles and loved all the Gears you could get to enhance it, especially the one that rendered you temporarily invulnerable when you jump on or off the rails.

All in all, an addictive game and a great piece of work to show love for it!

Unfortunately for Booker, he forgot the whole part where you need something to land on when you jump off a skyline.

I really like the composition and style. The only problem I have is that the range of emotion on your characters is not too big. Often they just have that angry, screaming look.
