My Facebook page: [link]I've never played any of the Devil May Cry games before, but when I started getting into this I absolutely loved it, just completed the game today actually. SO EPIC! And the music to the game is amazing, I have a few new favorite bands to listen to now.
With this piece I wanted to portray the epicness that the game throws out so well. And show off how badass Dante can really be, I love his character concept, everything just works so well. I want to do another pic with him using his sword, I'm also hoping to find a good real life replica of his new sword, damn that would look sweet on my wall

Awesome love this game and the music for it is just awesome. Cannot wait to see the one with the sword and you should piece for his angel and demon weapons just as an idea if you have time. But this looks great love his face expression.

The game footage I've seen in trailers and videos was awful, especially the story, but it's nice to see that some people actually enjoy it.

If you play the game youยดll see that the quality of story is great, the universe is interesting.
The story explores Dante's past and his family.
The character is more human, it have the quality of a movie.

The characters have no personality, Vergil kills an unborn baby for no reason, Dante is an asshole for no reason, Kat is about as deep as a kiddie pool and the quality of the writing is awful. "The world is your bitch, as am I." "Fuck you! Fuck you! Fuck yooooooooou!" "My dick is bigger". Seriously? You like that? That's fine, but in my opinion, you are what is killing the DMC franchise. And to quote Dante himself, "Fuck you!".

Vergil have a personality, and killing a unborn child show how the character is Cold and is ready to kill anyone who stands in his way and didn't even care if Kat was going to die, he have the personality of an antagonist.
Dante is an alone rebel teenager hated by everyone, is normal that he say shit all the time.
The Universe is more interesting now that the demons are visible to humans Dante can open his company of demon Hunter.
I didn't like all those "Fuck you" in the game and I hate this in games and movies but is explainable, they are demons and demons is suppose to be everything that is bad and evil and Dante like i said is a lonely angry hated teen.
They explored Dante's family and feelings, he get more sentimental in parts of the game that remember his mother.
The Story of the game is well written but short and it's not like sensational like Batman Arkham city or The Walking dead story, but still it is great.

I never said that the entire game was bad. Yes his redesign is awful, but the game does have some good qualities. The level design especially. That Bob Barbas fight was fucking amazing. You're the one jumping to conclusions.

Dante was made an asshole on purpose. So they can show how he changes from asshole to an actual decent guy near the end of the game. It's a dynamic character. Stories do it all the time. As for bad language, its not like this is the first time its ever happened. Lots of movies and games have extremely foul language. But I will agree, Kat was boring and Vergil was a dick.
And yes before I get asked. I did play the originals. All but dmc2. And loved them.

Lol yeah he was a dick majority of the game, and I almost had an issue with that until I noticed him slowly change in personality. I guess it's just cuz I like stories like that. I like when characters find a reason to not be an asshole. I mean sure they could just not be an asshole in the first place. But i suppose that would kill the point of their development.

It's not like had this game not been released, you would be getting a brand new old-fashioned Devil May Cry. This game existing does not detract from how good the old games were.

Yup, I agree. I'm a huge DMC fan and I was also one of those who complained about the different Dante at first. I still got the game 2 days ago and I'm enjoying it too. The story's pretty good and I simply love his new range of weapons.
However, I must say the graphic quality are not as beautiful and smooth as DMC4. I mean, compare Nero's face with this Dante and you can see the difference in skin texture. Mission 1 gave me eye-ache from all that red-limbo thing LOL
