So it's been a while since I've done a real piece, with a full background and other characters and things. So I really wanted to make this one full on
This is some fanart for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Rising which is going to be awesome! And I really wanted to show off the games' new feature.. Where you get
to slice up absolutely anything with your kick-ass sword
You'll notice the there's a guy crushed by the fallen structure behind (as seen on the trailer, Raiden slices the pillars), plus there's the guy watching himself fall in
two pieces.. And a little something in the foreground to top it off..
Anyway let me know what you think
Also a quick question for you MGS fans..
Do you think Raiden will ever be as good as Snake?
I mean come on.. he was pretty badass in MGS4

BTW, No Raiden will never be what Solid Snake has been! Raiden is cool, but in my opinion he lost a lot of depth to his character when he became ninja Raiden. In MGS2 he wasn't hero assassin ninja, but he was very interesting. With all that said I think Raiden had potential to maybe one day meek Snake's success when MGS2 was released, but that potential was lost when he was changed to his angry ninja self. just my opinion. Note: MGS1 (not TTS) is the best MGS/MG!

Will Raiden ever be as good as Snake? Only if his story has a gripping theme like MGS4, the whole theme being an arduous journey to the "end", and self sacrifice. Though most of us would rather just slice and dice airybody with an awesome katana. (Guilty as charged -A-;

I think Raiden will have his moments of victory and fail. I love him alot and love to make fun of him, because, let's face it, he's had his moments of epic fail that were almost totally his own fault (I'm just talking about MGS4... Haven't played 2 yet). But no one and I mean NO ONE will be as B.A.M.F. as Big Boss... XD
It's hard to pick favorites with characters so vivid and beloved. Each has his own strengths and weaknesses.
But seriously though... That kick ass sword makes up for a lot of fail... So I think Raiden does have an epic chance of surpassing Snake in terms of uber special awesome... Now all he needs is Vamp trying to get into his pants all will be right with the world XD
