So it's been a while since I've done a real piece, with a full background and other characters and things. So I really wanted to make this one full on
This is some fanart for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Rising which is going to be awesome! And I really wanted to show off the games' new feature.. Where you get
to slice up absolutely anything with your kick-ass sword
You'll notice the there's a guy crushed by the fallen structure behind (as seen on the trailer, Raiden slices the pillars), plus there's the guy watching himself fall in
two pieces.. And a little something in the foreground to top it off..
Anyway let me know what you think
Also a quick question for you MGS fans..
Do you think Raiden will ever be as good as Snake?
I mean come on.. he was pretty badass in MGS4

sick sick piece man!! awesome.... plus as raiden could take snake in a one on one i think he would bebetter, given the time. but to be honest, as far as stealthy type blokes go, mr fisher could take them all with his eyes shut. love your work though

This picture is absolutely wonderful!
I'll tell you, I've never disliked Raiden even since Metal Gear Solid 2; I think it's a character with a great potential. He showed us some badass moves in MGS4, so he might be a nice character for the upcoming MGS: Rising.

Dude how many hours this one has...because its outrageous, impresive. breath taking, amazingly well organized, great pose of Riden, the blood NUF SAID! and the guy slashed and the expression of " HOLY SHIT" looks awesome. Having this as a wallpaper in my pc would be great!

I actually haven't played metal gear solid 4 (don't own a ps3...)
But I think it might be a little hard to get past MGS 2 Raiden. Although he does look like he has stepped up the badass-level quite a bit. But there were so many jokes we made at Raiden's expense during our playthrough of MGS 2 so he has kind of become a laughing matter between my friends and I.
On another note this drawing is AMAZING. The brutality of the pose and the blood gives the shot so much carnage and really conveys the gritty mood. Excellen job!

I tried, not too long ago, to get a piece done, a guardsmen in a story i write, to have a pose similar to this only with a gun instead but i could NOT get anything.. ANYTHING close tot his.. i mean, my work doesn't compare, but i just couldn't even nail this kind of pose and awesomeness

I know!! i got the second and third one and they are making one for the ps3. i did have the first one but its run off somewhere. i recently i got spyro the dragon. AWSOME!! they don't make games like the old days.

Spyro the Dragon? God, I haven't played that game since it first came out. '97 or '98? Either way, quite a long time. You know Insomniac Games made that? Quite a change from Spyro to Resistance!

Wow, this drawing looks pretty incredible. The style really brings the picture to life. The perspective reminds me i guess of wide angle photography shots.
Hehe, i guess in my opinion Raiden is pretty bad ass but, what made old snake so bad ass was that he was able to get through his battles only because he was able to push himself beyond his capabilities just by sheer willpower. LOL, don't know though, guess we'll find out what Raiden had to do in Rising.

Your artwork is amazing and you just surprise me everytime I see your artwork in my inbox, with the skill you have in dynamic perspective and posing brilliant and this picture of Raiden (can't wait for the game) is one that showcases your monumental skill. Keep up the EPIC work man.

I think Raiden is just about as good as Solid Snake (sort of, but in a different way... I actually thought he was cool in MGS2 lol), but my favorite is Big Boss (Naked Snake)... Especially in Peace Walker, he's such a badass and a legend. I personally cannot wait until Metal Gear Solid: Rising... Also It'd be cool to see you do one of Big Boss in Peace Walker.
