I loved making this one! I've never really created 'dust' in any of my pics so it was pretty interesting to give it a crack!This is for the upcoming PS3 game Red Dead Redemption by Rockstar Games.. DAMN I CAN'T WAIT
It's going to have all the same physics that GTA IV used and I think it'll be awesome having the big ol' Western landscape to roam around in!This pic was mainly just to get me hyped for the game! It took me a little longer than my usual pics, about 16 hours I think.. All done in Photoshop CS3 apart from the sketch..

He got it JUST 3 days ago, and he's not stopped playing it. Only when he goes to work XDDD And when I pester him to stop playing anymore XD;
I loved the game, it was really interesting, and we BOTH loved how realistic the facial expressions were, how in-depth emotion could be conveyed in the game. We also loved how the animals varied even down to their health-status. Especially the emasciated Mexican horses. XD We both went "Dude... feed that damn horse already!"
The Undead Nightmare, it made me laugh when I saw John in his long-johns. I made a JOKE
My two favourite characters in the entire game would be John Marston and Bonnie Macfarlane. She's so damn sweet, but so damn tough at the same time. X3 And that ends my rant, I guess. I'm silly 8D

this is amazing! i love the pose and the fact that its the undead nightmare version of the game, also, it would have been cool if the horse was one of the for horses of the apocalypse like death or war, but its still an awesome pic!

hahahaha very coool work! i dig how the horse is even looking hardcore there in the background... so howd u end up creating the dust? i would have used a textured brush n then added some noise after. good details n the sky is amazing

Red Dead was actually a nice change of pace after all the modern guns, cars, and scenery, it was nice to go west
