Oh yes, y'all remember my art challenge I did last year of drawing all the classes from TF2 as Kaiju? Well, since I started in mid to late November, I missed out on one specific character that would've made for a perfect Halloween treat. So now that I'm unburdened by the production of another Stop Motion short, I can now take advantage of the time of spooks to redeem said treat. Ergo, finally drawing our favorite magical adversary to Mann co's mercs, Merasmus, as a Kaiju. As you can tell, I incorporated many aspects of Merasmus's design and character into this gangly eldritch Wendigo-like abomination, even interpreting the fish heads on Merasmus's belt as actual heads sprouting out of the beast's body. Not only that though, but I've also incorporated the look of the Bominomicon AND Monoculus to fit in with this beast's connection with Demoman's Kaiju. That being, like Demo in the main canon, Demomonster also had his eye stolen by the Eldritch Darkling at a young age (though here, it's implied to be intentional by Merasmus's Kaiju himself instead of an accident by Demo), causing his optic structure to warp, and his stolen eye being turned into this horrible, monstrous growth onto the Wendigo.

(if I ever make a fully fledged collection of stories to all this, I also need to establish a reasonable connection between Merasmus's and Soldier's Kaijus as well XP).
