A red mouthguard and a white mouthguard both hit the mat at the same time and two pairs of knees also dropped the canvas following the mutual thundering impacts of boxing gloves to one's body and another's face.

The Boxing Miko and the Boxing Nun had tapped gloves together moments before and mutually agreed to first freely take one of each other's strongest blows together, Kikyou willing to take a body shot so she wouldn't have to to target her Catholic Nun's body like she requested. Both had now thrown mighty punches and both were now on their knees on the canvas.

"Huff, huff...indeed you ARE strong, Miko Santoro-san..." Kikyou now said, huffing deeply. Beatrice, shaking her head to clear it, nodded back.

"And so are you, Miko Higurashi. You certainly punch above your weight class, from what I was able to briefly see while we geared up."

"What I am wondering..." Kikyou now said, getting her breath back. "Is how are you able to get within these ropes and punch with others? Aren't ones of your cloth sworn to pacifism?"

Beatrice nodded back. "Indeed we are, the vast majority of the time. I cannot take up arms as a soldier or be a law enforcement officer for sure. But situations like this, there is biblical precedent for it." she replied.

"Ohh? Wait a minute, I think Deborah-chan talked about that... The Book of Genesis right? Jacob's encounter at the Jabbok River?" Kikyou wondered, her chin now resting on a boxing glove in thought.

"That's correct!" Beatrice answered, nodding with her eyes closed and her boxing gloves now resting on her legs. Chapter 32, verses 22 through 32. Jacob-sama asked Kami-sama to either come down Himself or send a representative for him to have an all-night physical struggle and fight with to determine if he really would meet up with his brother whom he had taken his inheritance from years earlier." Kikyou nodded in understanding.

"And Kami-sama's messenger or avatar eventually did have to tap into their divine power to overcome him. So you strive to try and give a semblance of that to every person you tap boxing gloves with, knowing though you are a poor substitute for a true divine messenger." she mused.

"Yes, I strive to, and pray I make a big enough impression on them that they want to have some discussion and blessing time with me later in the locker room after our bout." Beatrice replied with a warm smile. Kikyou now smiled back.

"No wonder Rasashina-sama initially considered and approached you about her ward offer. I fully understand though why you turned her down. I can relate to the work you do with unwanted babies. In a simpler time, I wandered from village to village doing the kind of missionary work those of your beliefs are known for." she now said, retrieving her red mouthguard, and Kikyou now started to rise to her feet.

"Hai. Those infants need SOMEBODY to get them off to a loving and wholesome start, and it makes up for how I'll never birth children of my own due to chastity." Beatrice replied, also retrieving her white mouthguard and rising to her feet as well.

"I wonder though, WHY did you decide to start boxing for charity like this so much to win extra resources for them and other vulnerable children? And WHY did you decide to take up the cloths to begin with?" Kikyou now asked as she put her mouthguard back in and got back into her boxing stance.

"Tell you what, Miko Higurashi-san. If you manage to put me down for ten, or at least 3 more times without going down again yourself, over the rest of our 4 rounds of private slugging, I'll tell you those things now. Otherwise, you will have to wait a couple days and sit in as I talk with Rasashina-sama." Beatrice replied, smiling warmly before putting her white mouthguard back in as well, and getting back into her stance too, leaving her head mostly wide open but her body and breasts fully protected.

"Those are acceptable terms. We have a deal." Kikyou now said, and her and Sister Beatrice now tapped gloves in mutual respect, and the sounds of punches landing to faces and bodies resumed as the Boxing Shinto Miko and the Catholic Boxing Nun resumed their pugilistic trading and testing each other, and building bonds of friendship in the process!
