Description
This Apophysis 2.05 Z-plus Beta2 flame was rendered using the 'snowflake script' and then the transforms were manipulated to the shape of acute triangles. Next, the 3 transforms were doubled and flipped horizontally, giving me 6 transforms as well as adding the final transform. Also used was a gradient that had a nice greyscale pattern. This is of a size suitable for use as a wallpaper, too.

LOL Yup...that script has lots of uses. When taken further it produces a ''gemstone'' like image which gave rise to my "Palantir" series of pix among others. There are other ''snowflakes'' farther back in the gallery..including a wallpaper.

I have a darker version on a grey background that I was thinking of submitting, but I think I liked the detail better on this piece. I have several other pieces waiting to be submitted, so I might still submit the other 'flake, too.
Glad you liked it!

Thanks for the and all! I have quite a few ''spheres'' in my gallery...back about 2 or 3 years ago that I posted. There must be close to 60 of them that I did using the various fractal applications that I've used over the years. Then there are the dragonegg flames that I've done. Some of those I should edit into ''sphere/marbles"...
I have one with an ''oriental'' look that I'll be posting today.

Yes....isn't that dragonegg script interesting. Absolutely...you should do that. Would love to see the oriental one. Go For It! I have a bunch of spheres also....I just never post them. I am looking for the perfect design to go in them. If that makes any sense. hehehehe

We had such a nice winter here in NoDak. Some of my Wisconsin friends kinda got a bit snowbound there for a bit this spring. Been involved with the Clark Co. Historical society, so I chat with a few still there and other expatriates. My grandmother hailed from Neillsville and had an aunt and uncle in the Green Bay area until recently. I guess there are a mess of distant cousins still traipsing around the state...LOL
