Reminded me of Fantastic Planet quite a bit at the beginning, both in terms of art style and the big aliens vs little humany guys, but then you went off in a completely different direction. Really good!

Superb animation and storytelling. I'm still trying to sort out some symbolism in here (unsure of how much is specifically aimed at a subject and how much is openly left for interpretation.) The consuming of smaller people eventually leading to mass production of them makes me think of farming in general, however you chose to have larger people eating smaller people so they have that connection... I know that companies are recognized as individuals, and that companies are made up of many small people, is this about company mentality? It would make sense with the larger man consuming the smaller (it could possibly be me having that on my mind as I am currently in job hunting at the moment.)
At the end when consuming the small people causes the larger ones to explode, I'm still trying to figure out the thought process behind it. I don't see it connecting with a farm theme or company theme, so I'm left wondering if I'm trying to inject meaning into everything. Am I close?
Anyway, I really enjoyed watching this! You make fantastic stuff!

as with any concept where an artist uses symbolism, and stays away from direct explanation, it's open to interpretation.. but you pretty much nailed what i was thinking. to be honest though, after the initial concept, the story and images tend to take a life of their own.

This was oddly adorable, though a tiny bit gruesome, but in a good way, if that makes sense. I was horrified with the little ones as they were running in fear, trying to avoid being eaten. When the scientist first showed up, I was hopeful and then fearful of his intentions, but all along, I think I knew what was going to happen. Very well done and definitely worthy of the DD and awards you earned for this!
