When I saw this contest, I was hoping I'd have the time to paint at least one character from Diablo 3- I've done so many females recently that I just had to paint the barbarian in all his savage glory. Glad to have had the chance to finished it in time....Related content

Just a friendly advice, he's holding his axe wrong and for someone who knows a thing or two about weapons this is disturbing, it pops in your face as a big mistake... because it's hard to imagine a barbarian wouldn't know how to hold his axe

The large sharp side of the blade has to be in front, because that's what he hits with, right now the blade is pointing on the sides, so if he would want to hit, the axe would act just like a frying pan...

Looks great - especially the metallics on the axe and dagger. The background's cool too, and I like how it's lighter and slightly desaturated to help the central figure stand out. Good luck in the contest!
