Now that you mention it , she does look a bit like Rose McGowan. I got to say though that I was just working out of my head and this is how I pictured Death would look.

Wow. I never realized she was a DC character. The only other time I've seen her was in a sketch I colorized
only because the title and short description caught my attention.[link]
I guess I'm going to have to check her out, she sounds interesting.
Now as to your portrait. This is digital? Damn good artwork, I'd have guessed traditional. Mind my asking which program you used?

Thanks for your comments- she was done in photoshop, with a wacom tablet, as are all of my digital works. Occasionally i use painter, but only briefly before switching back- I guess it's a matter of familiarity.

Thanks- this one's digital, so no glazes. When I work in oils, I blend them out and may add a glaze later if needed

Wow! This is one of the best Death pieces I've seen on here! A definite fave. Would have preferred black or white lips but even with the red-pink lips and nails this looks lovely.

Yes, Sandman is one of best comic series except maybe "Transmetropolitan", "Thorgal" and "Lobo".
