Description
A little historical background: This picture was taken in 1916 during the Battle of The Somme in WW1. This is the famous Hawthorn ridge mine being detonated by the British.Just one question, pictures like these are considered public domain, right?

You shouldn't discount mosquitos. They're rather hearty creatures. It's said they'll survive in a neuclear war.

Yes, but it's really a matter of greed.
Even though the photographer is probably long since dead, if there's someone who can get control of a copyright, they'll exploit it no end.
