I needed my big blue Western boy to get some love. Topper and Duchess share a lot more in common than you think, as they're both evolutions of the LMS Princess Royal Class. If you've read my bio for Topper, you'll know that Duchess was so caught up in the LMS' legacy, that she ignored the fact she never understood it in the first place because she was built in 1948 after nationalization.
