Description Here is my latest try at making glass after doing what Skokie suggested


Go Skokie ! ! !

This was created in Bryce 5 and it took me just under 3 hours to render.

hmm ,.... "bended reality"? ... I don't see realism ... and I can't understand why this took you so much time to render ... the shadows are .. hmm what are they? ...

The caustics is nearly not existing ... and you should add some more samples per pixel ... that would greatly improve this one ... same for the edges ... the reflections there look a bit ... "damaged" ?!

Well ... good try but needs some work I think!

basically what other people have said... tis good, I like the edges the glass is more see through, and yes - it does look more like glass

Oh I never mentioned that the cube itself was created in Cinema 4D exported as a .3ds file and then imported into Bryce to use for this. Oops sorry bout that little detail I left out .

You can also make cubes/boxes with beveled edges like this in 3ds Max and then export them from there also
