My rubbish last-minute entry for the Poke-Parent Appreciation contest over at .

This was an experiment to see how fast I could work. This only took about two hours, which is really fast for me. It's so hard for me not to fuss over every little thing trying to get it all perfect (which is impossible anyway). I flood filled with Prismacolor markers and then let my Fantasia Premium colored pencils fly. I thought the idea was cute and I wanted to draw it out, even if the art itself isn't that great. Enjoy!

Edit 6/22/11: Replaced the lousy photo with a nice scan.

This is quite adorable! I love the idea behind it, and it's hilarious because it's exactly how children think!

Great job! I love the traditional shading, and the wonderful concept : D

And I love how it's 'loose and messy'!
I think it adds a lot of character, and it makes the whole feel a lot more down-to-earth
I also thought it went very well with the theme!

Although a short time, what a fantastic picture! C: I seriously am in love with the way you color, and such a cute idea. I adore the way you shone Duskull's eyes and around the outlines of the 'mons. Just wonderful, as always. <3

Thank you so much for the detailed comment. I really appreciate it. The reason I did the green outlines around the figures in pencil is actually because the underlying marker bled a lot on this paper. XD In the end, I like how it helps the Pokemon to stick out against the backdrop.
