Decided to draw my intended starter before I even take the game out of the packaging. Doubled as practice with my little-used but fabulous set of Derwent Artists colored pencils . They're bizarre, but fun.Litten © The Pokemon Company. Artwork made by me, Peachfuzz .

aw It's an adorable Litten! I like the stretching pose since it reminds me of my kitty when she wakes up. haha Anyways, I wanted to choose this Pokemon, but I was a bit disappointed in it's final evolution.

Agreed, I don't much like Litten's final form aesthetically but it's a reliable partner in the game. I suck at Pokemon names, but big angry professional wrestler cat guy is growing on me.

I've been wanting to play Pokemon more, but I got addicted to Zelda Breath of the Wild and it's been hard to play anything else. x____X
I think I would have preferred a big cat form like a tiger or something instead of a humanoid fighting type kitty. This happens a lot with Digimon evolutions as well. It's like they think the more human looking the stronger it should be. And then there is me who just wants to ride across the wilderness on a giant tiger.

I too was hoping that Litten would stay quadripedal, but alas, no luck. Seems like very few starter Pokemon remain on four legs. I had such hope from the middle fire cat guy.

Thanks, Cheru! These colored pencils are indeed weird... They feel more like graphite than colored pencils. I want to try them out on other papers.
