Is that a Louis plushie Will is holding? With Fanboy, you never know. ^_^ Louis will make an appearance in the final picture, but I'll need more time for it.Working on a new drawing of Will and Louis. Finally getting around to what Will wears other than the long sleeved shirt, and designing a Watch jacket.
The picture in the top right corner is the outline for the Watch Badge. Pretty basic, but I'm still working on it. Outfit inspired partially by Shatterstar and Rictor from the X-Factor comic books.

I hope to finish the drawing once I'm done with Inner Workings, full ink, full color. Getting the right reference for Louis will be the toughest part because while I've developed Will's look fairly well in drawings, Louis' appearance has always been in the background and small. Louis is actually a little taller than Will, and far broader in muscle. I hope with this picture to portray that a little, though Louis is still inside Will.
Louis: What are you doing offering coffee to a stuffed doll? I'm the one going without a caffeine fix in here! *kicks*
Will *frowns and holds plush tighter*: You can give the plush Louis as much coffee as you want.

*Looks at his stomach* I didn't know you were in there Louis. You forgot your coffee again? If you behave in there I may give you Kona coffee as a reward. So just behave for a bit *unintentionally kisses stomach* Well I'll be at my corner of shame and embarrassment again.
I blame woman's instincts for that.

Hey, this is turning out very good! You're certainly seeming to solidify your style. Will looks good. You're certainly getting his face down pact.
As a bit of criticism, the fingers look a bit pointy, but the rest of him looks very, very well done.
I'm curious as to what the rest of this picture is going to look like!

Thanks! Quite a change from the first pic of Will and Louis I did. Much less femmy anyway. ^_^ I'll try to fix the fingers when I get down to inking Will. I'm curious about the rest of the picture too! Louis is going to be in it, I just haven't figured out how yet.

...And while that's probably not healthy, I'm certainly not complaining! Don't you worry about getting back into the story until you're good and ready. If your energy is consumed by education (and amazing little side-projects like these!) then by all means take care of that first. We're a patient bunch.
I like the design for the Badge; it sums up the ideals of the Watch nicely. Now remind me, does the Watch have a motto or slogan to go with that symbol?

I hope the wait for the next chapter isn't too long, but once my trip is over I should have a little more free time to write.
Indeed there is a slogan for the badge; it's in the more recent edit of Man on the Inside part 1. "To Watch, to Weigh, and to Act for the Good of Mankind". Or as Cetz would say, "to watch, to weigh, to wait on our asses." ^_^

Louis: Bitter, strong, like 99% pure dark chocolate with an earthy aftertaste. Hence why you add a bit of sugar. Not a lot. And certainly no cream or milk; that's for desserts, not coffee.
Will: It's an acquired taste. I would probably need a lot of sugar or cream in mine.

It took me until my college years to find out what energy drinks taste like. And before you start downing any of them, be aware a lot of them are for short term use and are not healthy in the long run. Read the labels and the fine print. It is advised of Monster energy drinks that no more than three servings should be drunk in a 24 hour period. Most bottles or cans have warnings about their contents and how often they should be drunk. And be aware that a lot of single cans are actually two servings.
Will: Caffeine can be helpful in moderation, but it's no substitute for a full night's sleep.

Oh trust me I know. I accidentally had a sample of monster and I gagged. It was yucky. besides, I don't wanna have a heart attack. I've been warned by my doctor that if I have an energy drink with my history of a heart murmur something bad might happen....
