to be honest I don't think Uru's lying, she probably got along with Erevu because he looks similar to her. Also why couldn't Ahadi see that Scar looks exactly like Uru? he has her eyes? and why would it matter if he was Erevu's, Ahadi couldhave still treated him as his son.

Well, I am sorry, but I agree with Uru here. I know Ahadi is being rational for the pride, but NO parent would be so rational and calm after losing a child, Uru's reaction is way more understandable than Ahadi's at the very moment.

I want to Believe that Uru is telling her mate the truth but the resemblance between Taka and Everus is really uncanny. they look almost like the same lion. same jawline, eyes and build. I mean this could all be just a coincidence Β or maybe Everus and Uru are related in some why which would explain his and Taka's resemblance .Β

Maybe Erevu got alittle too "friendly" one night with Uru. Sure she thought they were just friends but maybe he didn't. Perhaps he had her alone one day when King Ahadi was away hunting, and slipped his 'pecker' into her while she was sleeping. Of course she wakes up and smacks him away but his sperms is just too fast.

I don't she Uru was lying. For her, it've just been friendship and nothing more. Maybe Erevu might've felt more than friendship, but in the face of tradition, pride laws and the law of survival he was probably very content with just friendship. Smart move when you're weaker than your "love rival". Scar (I can't address him as anything else) and he do look alike, but I mostly blame that based on lion prides and their mating. Although the Pridelands seem more...cultured I guess, they still follow the simple formula of a pride: a strong male(s) mate with all the females, only the sires and all the females stay while the young males leave. That last thing is not the case in TLK, but I feel like it should. And when a new male takes overs, the elimination of future offspring's competition is delivered and cubs are sired once again.
I feel that in someway, Ahadi and Erevu are related. Obviously since they share a pride (strange males are never allowed in unless they challenge the head male and wins) but I mean like maybe a first cousin if not brother situation. That would make much more sense, especially when Uru gives birth toΒ Scar. The recessive gene in Ahadi that was dominate in Erevu is dominate in Scar. And since Uru is also a dark brown lioness, it makes perfect sense that at least one offspring would have her dark fur.Β Mufasa, to me, was a McGuffin, especially with Disney's obsession to make certain elements fit their needs(I am, of course, referring to the whole "Nala's father" theory and why no male lions seem to want to take over besides Scar). Scar's coloring and his parents coloring makes more sense, but now I'm just complaining. Β

Personally, I don't think Uru is lying. She wouldn't be so adamant about it for so long, and I feel that if there really had been more than friendship between her and Erevu, she would admit it to Ahadi, at least. Plus she would see her own part in Taka's "death" due to her "betrayal" of him not being Ahadi's son, and thus, giving Ahadi true reason to resent him. But she's not doing that. She's blaming it entirely on Ahadi. Of course it could be severe denial, but I don't think so. =/
That being said, as I've mentioned before, Taka DOES look A LOT like Erevu... but he also looks a lot like a mixture of Uru and Ahadi. So I don't really know... Not for certain, anyway (since you won't confirm it, lol). But I will say that I believe Uru. She seems sincere, and let's face it: it's not out of the ordinary for people (or lions, in this case), to become jealous and suspect there's more than friendship between their significant others and the opposite sex. So yes, I think Ahadi is just paranoid.
