Hi! Sorry if this will sound confusing in some parts! (This is my first critique so yeah!)
So, first of all, the colours! I think that it's good that you are working with what you are given, tough you should note that you should colour in only one direction, for example just moving your pencil upwards when colouring certain areas, this will give the drawing, or at least the colouring a cleaner look. You have to make sure to fill in those blank spots, too! (If you leave em' there they can pose as an annoyance to the viewer.) You should also use this trick in which you draw a light source (Example: A sun) In a corner of the drawing and shade the parts that make sense according to that light source, it actually helps a lot while shading the drawing!
As far as the anatomy goes, it's quite good actually. Tough I would suggest referencing off of a normal human body (If you are going for a more realistic-cartoon style)
Now, the line-work. So, let's start with the sketching part first before we get into the fancy lines. You should hold the pencil at a comfortable grip and make sure to press lightly for the best results, if you press too hard, the pencil marks will show if you erase them and if you are not comfortable while holding the pencil, the drawing/sketch itself could come out quiet sloppy. And now for the line-work, you should of course also have a comfortable grip and slowly make your way along the picture you just sketched, I suggest using a felt pen or even just a simple black pen (Black pens are the most common line-work tools but use whatever colours work best for you!)
Anyways, a few extra tips would be to add a background to the drawing itself cause it can really spice the whole thing up a notch! Tough this is completely optional! And the other tip is to note the creases/wrinkles in the clothing, they add a nice touch to the drawing itself(from personal experience)
