Don’t mind the title, I'm a little bit uncreative with those
Came up with this idea for a painting when I was about to go to sleep, but I knew I would forget it in the morning if I didn’t write it down, so I did... And then I couldn’t sleep because even more ideas kept popping up!

If you have an image ready in your head, you should paint it even though halloween is months away, because, until then, you might have forgotten it. (Also I'm curious to see a halloween painting in your style XD)

Yeah, it'll be long forgotten next week already if I don't draw it XD But I do have other stuff I want to draw first. I'll definetly draw a halloween theme someday tho!

Do you use a certain brush for the leaves? Or do you "just" paint all of them by hand?

I know haha, I was a bit creeped out when I noticed it haha, but I was too lazy to fix it :3
And the leaves I did half with a brush(selfmade) and half with brush strokes. It would definitely take ages to draw it all by hand

It just gives a touch of humour to the drawing
And yeah, painting leaves can be quite dreadful :/ I like your technique, but I have trouble making leaves look natural no matter what method I use

Yeah, you have to experiment a lot. And youtube tutorials is very helpful (though you just need the time to watch them and write notes of everything so you wont forget lol. I'm too lazy to do all that, I should rly put more time on studying art )

Yeah, I know that feeling. I watch a lot of videoes about art, but forget most of it.
However, I implement the things that impress me the most, so in that way, I won't consider it time-waste.
Art is really about observing, and I think it's quite interesting, how we take note of things and implement them in our art.
It's fascinating to see, how you can improve in art with just observing (ofc you need to practise your skills too, but you get the picture of it)

Yes, that is really interesting. It's like training the eye to see what is beautiful to look at and then we have to practice our hand so it can draw what the eye sees, if that makes sense XD
