I'm not a brilliant critiquer of wildlife photography (as it's not my forte) so forgive me if i say anything stupid!
Firstly, i've never seen a hummingbird in real life, but i've been told they are notoriously hard to photograph due to their fast moving wings. While the images i've seen of this species before mostly show the wings frozen in air, i like how there is still movement in the wings here, as well as definition in the feathers. He still appears to be floating in the air, but the slight blur confirms he isn't.
The way the piece is framed at the bottom with the leaves and bright flowers is very nice. I wonder if the image would work better without the high unfocused flower above the bird, but i know there is nothing you could have done about that. That's nature for you!
The colours really pop in the light green leaves of the foreground and the flowers, but it's a shame the leaves in the bottom right are in shadow. There's a very summery feel to this piece and i can almost hear the gentle breeze brushing through the branches.
Keep up the good work!

Great capture of the hummingbird. I like how the focus is on the bird and some of the flowers.

Thank you. I actually took this picture (and the other two) without knowing what aperture I should set it at, so I just randomly chose an aperture and shot the pictures.
