Happy New Years everyone!! I wish you all a great one!!okay i was GONNA post it January 1st but WHATEVER im still counting it as drawn in January kk?
Omfg my frugging paintings are killing me I see NO IMPROVEMENT can someone tell me WHAT IM DOING WRONG.
omfg im having the same problem I had with digital and im starting to think I really suck.
When i started digital yeah sure it was digital, idk if you know what I mean but what I made digitally didnt actually look digital. Like it didnt look like real digital work because of my colouring. the same thing is now happpening with my painting yeah its painting. but it doesnt look like real painting. This problem is really really bringing me down
anyone mind giving me some critique or constructive criticism? I would REALLY appreciate it... and not about the art. this time im focusing on my main problem. CO-LO-RING.

This doesn't adress the main problem but do you draw directly on your watercolour paper?
What do you think is wrong with the colours personally, I really like them, the mostly cool colours then given a burst of warmth by the dragon and yellow on the girl's dress.

haha wow you actually found my goal! thats a first! I made the majoraty of the colours opposing the colours of the girl and dragon on the colour wheel. My goal was to make it stand out and give it warmth. Thanks! idk i just ahve no self-esteem ; v ;

You do much better with watercolour when I did starting out! So I think that's fantastic for beginning
