Let's face it. Her hair would not be blowing majestically, mascara would not stay on her eyelashes and there would be icky, smelly kelp in that water. O_oSeriously, though, I love Disney movies. I also like making fun of them.
I never before appreciated just how difficult it was to draw Ariel.

I'm pretty sure they're implying her eyelashes are just naturally thick and dark, but man, I love what you did there! And mascara trails definitely contribute to the overall feel beautifully.
Though if I were drawing the first panel, I would have added at least a glimpse of the top row of Ariel's teeth, otherwise her lips blend a bit with the mouth interior (Obviously, you don't have to take any of this on board, just sharing my approach). The piece is otherwise lovely, and most importantly, extremely entertaining!
