Let's face it. Her hair would not be blowing majestically, mascara would not stay on her eyelashes and there would be icky, smelly kelp in that water. O_oSeriously, though, I love Disney movies. I also like making fun of them.
I never before appreciated just how difficult it was to draw Ariel.

This was one of my two favourite movies when I was little. The other was Lion King. Maybe they still are.

O.O I was thinking about this earlier this morning, how, of all Disney films, the little Mermaid is one I consider very unrealistic, exactly for this reason. In particular, I was thinking something in the lines of "how the hell her hair is never wet, and why she never gets soaked by the waves?? They should have thought of it"

hahaha! oh no! I think the first time I went to the ocean was about a year after The Little Mermaid came out. That, along with only swimming in the Great Lakes, made the ocean a severe disappointment for me...
