A feral light rested in the dark lord's eyes.
And harry came, to his surprise
To face death like a man
As was part of evil's plan
Life would be lost
But at the Dark Lord's cost
harry left this world
To where all life is hurled
And met an old friend
From whom hope did send
He learned the how to end evil's rein
and so boarded the train
To save the day
from evil's decay.

It really makes you realize how love with Ginny Harry is. The Weasleys had been the only one true family he had ever known. Ron and Hermione are his closest friends, and they helped power his patronus. Yet in his final moments, Harry doesn't even thinks about his parents, whose sacrifices for him empowered him so greatly, nor any of the aforementioned people; all except one. All he can think of is Ginny, and her blazing look, and her kiss. It means that Ginny is the one that he loved above all others, and it is her that is the greatest comfort in his life.

Of course, Harry being the one to readily accept his death, knew that he wouldn't be able to go through it if he uttered even a word to her. He really was in love with her, and the books made it as if it was always meant to be, and he just never realized it. It really made it seem as if they were perfect for each other, especially when Ginny finally got over her fangirl crush on Harry.

Yeah, the angle didn't work right for her lips. I was should have curved it the other way so you could see more of the edge. I might go back and fix it soon. Glad you like it otherwise!

Yeah, I suppose... You know, all this talk about drawing techniques makes me frustrated that I'm not good enough at drawing to do my own versions of this and a lot of other scenes. I finished re-reading the books about a month ago, and after taking to fan art and fan fics, I've become even more inspired as to how I would do it. I just wish I could take time to actually try to learn how to draw.

It just takes practice! Any art that you see and like is really just the result of practice. You have to be willing to be TERRIBLE at it for awhile in order to get better.

Oh wow! How have I never seen this before? The colours, the mood, the drawing. It's all amazing, and not far away from how I imagined it reading the books.
The penultimate panel is stunning. I can feel the emotion that Harry is going through right at that very moment.
