A rather belated Christmas present for who wasn't able to go home this year for the holidays.I have a feeling she and I talked about this scene in particular over coffee, as we BOTH drew it. Go check out her incredible version: [link]
This is the part in Deathly Hallows where Ron uses the Deluminator to get back to Harry and Hermione. I know he didn't say anything about SEEING their images, but I'm sure he was picturing them very well in his mind.

Yeah I think it's covered by his hair. I know I put it in, but when I drew the hair it went over the scar and I was too lazy to redo it. Glad you like it!

This is amazing... The atmosphere is so lovely and emotional, and the monochromatic colouring looks great, too! The triptych idea is awesome - it works perfectly!

Uh, uh uh... took me a sec or two to take it all in, but here go all the things that are love:
* "Ron" in the swirly swirls of secret deluminator magic
*the air swirl of disapparition in the final frame
*the footprints in the snow in the final frame
*the letter in the final frame (your Ron is much more considerate than mine)
*all the facial expression's but especially Ron's
*do the drapes swaying in the wind in the final frame (as compared to the fixed counterpart in the midle one) clue us in on the fact that he went through the window? Because if it did, that'd be awesome
*In general, I just LOVE you you set up the three frames from the same POV, and managed to illutrated the course of events and pasage of time with little hints. That makes looking at it even more rewarding. Very clever. Seriously.

Ron used up all his consideration in his goodbye letter to Bill and Fleur. Ergo, he not only choose the window over the door for the sake of speed, he also forgot to close it, letting all the warm air out of the house.
Triptychs are fun! And hard! Much like boulders.
