Description A man of Al-Aqaba, a village in the Tubas region of Palestine, shows us the demolition orders for the school, nursery, clinic and mosque that he helped to found.

If the orders are not challenged in court, which is a lengthy and expensive process, then all the buildings in the village will be razed by Israeli military bulldozers.

I should add something personal here to help the reader digest this, but honestly, I don't know what to say.

I hope you like the photo.

This makes me so sad for my nation, sad for my land
How much anger can come from one land towards another, how much lives can be lost just because one conflict, how much tears are cried for the land called Palestine

I don't know what to say. It makes so angry, but it's impotent anger.

On another topic, it's an interesting photo - I love all the different shades of shadow, and most importantly, all the different textures in the picture - the paper, the fence, his jumper, the metal and rubber of the wheelchair, and the different skin and hair textures. It's incredible, makes me want to stroke them all at once to see what it would be like. I'd love to...feel this image, if such a thing were possible.
