If you're going to hold the Crane position balanced on top of a 30 foot bamboo pole it will take excellent balance and muscle control, proper breathing technique, and strict mental discipline.Also short shorts and a tiny tank top. For reasons of official ninja business, I assure you.
So I thought it was time for more Akiko. originally she was going to be standing on a wharf piling, but I changed my mind for no real reason. Anyway, enjoy,

Yes short shorts and a tank top are *vital* to ninja training. Everyone knows that. Also nice to see an homage to The Karate Kid that actually has something from The Karate Kid in it! Unlike the new movie coming up...

They can't make a Karate Kid movie without Pat Morita, that would just be wrong (no one misses Ralph Macchio, sadly). I always thought it was funny that the Crane kick in the Karate Kid has him not use his arms at all (or rather, hold them out where they can't block) and when I started to watch Chinese Kung Fu movies later I realized he should have been using his arms too...

I like the doggie working on his balance as well.
This is an important technique to learn! I once got zapped inside a video game and had to fight a level boss while hopping around on the heads of hungry meandering zombies, very much like wharf pilings or a cane break.
