Description
Clarissa takes a break from archaeology to pose as a nude model for our special guest artist. And here you thought it was going to be a mummy.
And since it's now October, why not be like Anubis and judge the souls of the dead as they pass through the duat draw a sexy gothy archaeologist of your own, and I'll feature you here:
Clarissa's Gothtober Art Jam SpectacularGothy Archaeology, Just in Time for Halloween
I got at least 10 takers in the poll (and a surprising number of sea lions) so we're on for a Clarissa Harlowe Art Jam! Clarissa is an archaeologist, adventurer, and lightning rod for the supernatural, who indeed could be better for Halloween? So give us our best Clarissa art, or literature, or whatever medium you choose, and I'll feature it here (let me know in the comments below, or a note).
Feel free to vary up Clarissa's outfit, although it should always be predominantly black. Nudity is A-OK, of course. As always, don't do anything that will violate DA's rules.
Β References and some fun facts:
Anubis Hoodie!
Now while more people voted for Clarissa, the fact of the matter is she can't be everywhere at once, so sometimes her assistant has to stand in. So if you'd prefer you can draw Nikki
Incidentally, not our Halloween pic for this year, that's still to come.

Normally ancient Egyptian figure painting was done on a white background (when on a wall), which makes sense since they always depicted themselves as a medium red-brown color. So if you wanted to paint Clarissa you'd just have to outline her, but that didn't look as interesting here.

He's somewhat constrained by the conventions of classical Egyptian art. But then you might wonder why he needs a live model...

Probably so, the famous bust of Nefertiti was almost certainly done from life, or at least the sculptor had seen her in person.
