Description
On a cold and rainy morning Clarissa decides to avoid the weather, her underwear, and, doubtlessly, ninjas, in favor of breakfast in bed with a few good books. Rather interesting that a large academic book on archeology would have a pulp comic in the middle. Must be odd to see a 90 year old comic about yourself...Ink drawing colored in photoshop.

Great work, as usual. Anubis, the Egyptian judge of the dead- oddly enough, I've got a small statue thing of him in my room. Had that since like, the 5th grade.

This is such a great piece, I can't help but wonder if Miyuki and Lyta will get similar pics. Something along the lines of 'Down Times'
You could even do a trilogy style where you have "Rainy Afternoon" and "Rainy Evening"
Just an idea. Again, wonderful work, and like several other comments, I really like the Lil' Anubis

We do see Miyuki doing non-ninja things, although the rainy evening was ninja related - [link] and of course in bed, but asleep - [link]
A downtime pic for Lyta would be interesting, since we haven't seen that for her outside of comics, but that would call for a new Miyuki pic, just for completeness sake.

Hey its Clarissa! Got to love that girl and her taste in fashion, but I also love that little Egyptian doll she has. You should have him in a more prominent place .
Also nice work on the background, it really sets the mood. How many layers did you use there? I think I count three.

She might not bother with the robe at all, if it were warmer (and if she had curtains on that giant window) but it looks like the Anubis doll will cover for her...
The background is actually five layers, but one of those is just the glare on the window, and the window frame is two layers, one for the lines, one for the colors. Everything from the bed forward is it's own set of layers as well (lines, colors, shadows, plus the text layers).

I thought they were drawn separately, since there is a little bit of repartition in the windows and the city scape looks like a stand alone image. Ahh, digital art, its all layers, smoke and mirrors.

Not sure that really counts as underwear but I AM sure I don't care, it looks good on her. What there actually IS on her. Yes, yes. Very nice as always. You've quite good at drawing attractive women in skimpy outfits. I like it!

It's a silk bathrobe/dressing gown - not really underwear, but not really outerwear either. It's a handy sort of thing for people who've just gotten up and don't want to get dressed yet, but need something to wear in the meantime.

Aaah I see. I suppose those things would come in handy. All I really know right is it looks good on her and personally I wouldn't mind seeing her walk around in that all the time but that's just me.
