If the shower is so steamy you can't see how naked you are, it's time to turn the temperature down. Oh good, here's Clarissa, she'll help us figure out this water buffalo business.
Ink drawing colored in photoshop, I'm uploading these in reverse order so they show up correctly in my gallery and people's devwatches and so on.
Rushed and shortcut as much as possible, but at least I finished in time.

What's this fetish Miyuki has with water buffalos? Wouldn't really have a knife as my weapon of choice, though, if a water buffalo came charging. Not even a knife with as large blade as kukri (I believe that's an alternate spelling, unless I'm wrong.)

Supposedly the test of a good kukri is that it can kill a water buffalo with a single stroke (sometimes said as decapitate a water buffalo). This would of course depend on the strength of the wielder, and kukris do come in a range of sizes; I own two, and the blade on the smaller one is probably not as long as a buffalo's neck is thick.
In general water buffalo are pretty tame, but if one turned hostile on you I imagine some kind of polearm would be the most useful, (in the absence of a gun). The test is more like the tatami mat rolls for Japanese swords - it's how much the blade can cut through though, rather than if it can stop a hostile animal.

it's a shame for posting purposes that you had o use so much "mist" in that scene

If the water were really that hot they'd probably be a bit less casual about standing in it, but then anyone who was avoiding mature tagged pictures would miss out on page 2.
The mist is a layer by itself in photoshop, on top of everything else (since it has to obscure the lines as well, which are usually the top layer). What this means is that there's an unmisted version buried in the original image.

is there anywhere we can see the non misted layer?
as for the mist itself, the outer temperature of the shower could be lower or chilly enough to make the water steam at a less hotter temp.
I've taken showers at Gyms or other "not at my house showers" where the dressing room that led from the shower area was kind of chilly and therefore th actuall shower part was much more "cloudy" withouthe water being scalding.

Once it's a jpeg the layers can't be separated anymore, but luckily I save everything at multiple stages along the way, so the steam-free version can now be seen here.
Oddly enough, my pilot light went out last night, so this morning I had a firsthand look at lots of steam from warm-but-not-hot water. Also happens with heated outdoor pools in winter.
