I had this idea a while ago, but I had some other things to do at the time, so I put it off for a bit.Incidentally, the Indonesian mimic octopus really exists; it's a pretty amazing animal that can take on the appearance of other sea creatures in it's environment. It couldn't really manage a cat, however.

Imagine the guy in Vegas who thinks he just got lucky with a showgirl and ends up with an octopus. Hopefully that ink spot on his record will stay in Vegas.
