Description Part of my 'stuff named after songs' series. This one's named after Fly, by Ludovico Einaudi. An amazing composition, be sure to give it a listen if you haven't heard it already. I was listening to it while drawing this, and thought it would be a fittingly ironic name, as that plane over there isn't likely to fly any time soon.

This one nearly killed me. My tablet was on its last legs, and I think drawing with my finger would've been more precise. It's the last drawing I completed with that tablet. There are a few others I drew before this in that span of time when I had limited internet access, but I don't have those with me. This is, for now at least, all I have to show for the past several months.

I believe this is my best work so for though, so that's alright.

I think the themes of this are pretty clear... the last work I uploaded, almost nine months ago, was about war and death destroying hope, well this time I thought I'd show hope making its stand. I hope that got through. I'm severly anti-war, but I think that's probably why I'm so fascinated by it. I should also probably point out those things in the sky are planes, not birds. They do look like birds from afar, though.

Almost entirely done on Paint Tool SAI, with a little colour correction afterwards on Photoshop.

Woah, this looks like it took a long time. XD There is incredible detail in this piece. I love the colors and the contrast between the darkness and flowers. Also, very nice water lol. The only critique I have is of the light coming through the tree. Light rays don't stop until they hit something or they have already traveled really far. The light rays seem very short and maybe you can extend them until they hit the ground? All of the lights should also be parallel since they're coming from a single light source. Another thing is that I couldn't make out the wrecked airplane at first and it took me awhile to figure it out due to the darkness around it and the lack of a clear visible shape. But that might have been what you were going for since this drawing is pretty dark. This is a great piece and keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for the kind words! You're right, it did take a long time. You're absolutely right about the light rays, I thought of changing or removing them but by then I had so many layers that I couldn't find it. I'll keep your advice in mind for my future work though. Thanks again for your feedback.

Wow, so cool! First, l like the colors you chose. They look like it's sunset or early morning (I love that time of the day). This image gives out the following impression to me: while everything around is fading away, the girl is feeding only life left. Old, broken things can be beautiful in such pictures, you got my attention right away!Keep working, I an imagine what you will do in a short time: D

I'm unforgivably late with this, but thanks!

I intended this to be around late afternoon, but I love sunsets and sunrises as well, most of my drawings feature one of the two. You're also spot on with the sort of impression I was trying to make, I really appreciate  that.

Thank you so much for the kind words!

Very good Work.  I don't know if this was intended like that but the plane wreck and tree together look like a monster's mouth with the light rays as teeth. This and the cross in the dark give a good hint how threatening the environment is. The girl watering the flowers delivers the message of life and hope very good. What you could do better in my opinion are two things. Some of the light rays go into crossing directions, which is a bit strange when they come from a single source. The planes should fly in some kind of formation and the rear wings should be a bit more accentuated, so that people don't confuse the planes with birds. Overall a very good work with a strong message. Keep it up!

I'm ridiculously late, but thank you!

I didn't actually intend for the wreck to look like a monster, but that's a really interesting intepratation. I think I ought to pretend that was actually what I was going for XD Everything else you've described is just what I was trying to put across, and I really appreciate that.

Spot on with the light rays. I quickly added them in early on, back when I was planning on having more holes in the wing for the light to pass through, and when I wanted to change it afterwards, I couldn't for the life of me find the layer it was on. So I left it in.

That's great advice, with the planes. I knew I was doing something wrong with them, and I really wish I'd thought of that while I was drawing them.

Thank you so much for the insightful feedback and the kind words! I really appreciate it
