Description
For Calendar Project. This is a collaboration: I commissioned lines from *redsama a few month's back and this is just a small portion of the lines I received.
Festivals seem a proper summer activity so I thought to use them for the calendar. (I will be doing a colored version of the full festival piece later in the year.)

I still have to color the full version of those lines I commissioned.
I'm such a procrastinator.

Wow! I have been away a long time! The perspective is a bit off, but this looks great, it's so full of character. I love the facial expressions and the bright colors you picked and the clothing design

I just had fun coloring that, it's a cropped down version of a piece I commissioned.
I really should color the whole piece (and in a totally different color scheme)
I admit I'm in it more for the fun of coloring &drawing...I haven't had the drive I should for improvement. So I've been coloring more than drawing lately.

My daughter has watched me color hair so many times with the Copics. She's declared it to be the one thing that I consistently do better than her.
She is still amazed that she can't even get the first steps of the effect down...so she's sticking to digital. XD

Haha you two got some family competition going on there, do you?
Copics are hard indeed. I am a total loser when it comes to traditional. You are great with it, though!

She's got family bragging rights when it comes to eyes.

Plus she really keeps on improving.
I can't do digital to save my life...

And remember that's only a small portion of it.
I'm sure you'll see a mention later in the year when I do a version of the entire piece you did for me. (And I hope you'll like it just as much.)

I love coloring Yukata...when I do the full picture the color scheme will be completely different (partially because I'll be coloring them in a smaller scale)
