It says on the Halo Nation wiki that there was an arbiter in service during the Fall of Reach, just before Thel 'Vadum was branded a traiter and given a chance at redemption by becoming the Arbiter.I had thought of making an elite OC a good while ago, but decided that making him a religiously challenged arbiter during the fall of reach would be good for a story. his 'companion' character is a new Spartan OC i've been tinkering with named Faith. I'll post a pic of her once its ready.
in the meantime, my Copiic refills FINALLY arrived. so now that all my greys are back up to full speed, i can -finally- finish all the fucking commissions i've had backing up like rush hour traffic.
I do apologise to all my commissioners who have been very /patiently/ waiting. no seriously, thank you. I know waiting for what you've already paid for sucks.
anyways, i'll post more about Sval and Faith in later weeks, perhaps as I finally write up the first chapter to the story.

I respect that it may be a character that you have, however the Lakum bloodline is no shitty role-play. AS Sval stated we are a family, I apologise for the confusion, the Lakum bloodline has been around longer than this art piece, Sval is indeed an Arbiter of the Sangheili community and your artwork does not resemble his motives or personality. Everyone in the Sangheili community has a Sangheili name of sorts, and there is more than a few Lakums I assure you and these are people who have been apart of the Sangheili community for over 3 years. I've never met, nor do i plan to meet any other 'lakums'. S'val's name, likeness, and story is all my creation. So wherever you think i got him from, forget about it.
This isn't based on anyone's chracter or story. I created him from scratch while brainstorming my own halo elite OC.

Sval is an original character which you created, just understand that those who bare resemblance to your character, should not be accused of theft, I've known Sval long enough to understand that he would not steal an idea such as this, coincidence I think would be a logical explanation, as well as the Surname Lakum, the name Sval is also quite common and it does not surprise me that someone or some people came up with that name, oblivious of the other people creating it. I hope you have the clarity of thought to be able to understand this dilemma.

You drew that picture 3.5 years ago approx, assuming that people commented on your picture directly after you posted it, the Lakums have been around for as long as I remember, other than that I have no information. Regardless, well done on this work and on behalf of the rest of the Lakums, I apologise for the confusion. I have just had confirmation from Sval stating that the account displayed in your comment section, isn't Sval, rather someone evidently trying to get him into trouble. Pay no attention to the fool.

I'd like to say iv brought this name Sval Lakum to life on xbox, Halo reach, iv been using the name for over a year and a half , and I'm in something called the Sangheili community , it's where all who like Elites make there own fleets and have there own ranking structure , I my self am an arbiter , and I have my own bloodline , (basically like a family) It took me awhile to find this page but I thank you for making it , other wise I would not be where I am ! a new Spartan OC i recently designed to be in the same story as sval. you can read a bit about them both in a gift-fic a friend did. her name is and the deviation is called "Gift:Shipwrecked" or something like that. its not how the story will actually go, but her writings are quite entertaining.
