Reminds me of a piece done by a fellow artist on DA called "Yuumei".
Do you by chance know her/of her? o:

This piece was uploaded first. Apparently A girl entered an art contest to win a scholarship, supposedly plagiarizing Yuumei's art. Yuumei puts up journal about it. Fans go batshit. Girl receives death threats from fans. Girl gets disqualified and scholarship revoked. Yuumei forces her to apologize via phone call and letters. Girl is forever humiliated. [Copy paste 
Then she put up this piece which was plagiarised from this.

Haha no prob, I like to avoid headaches, both in person and online lol I just know a LOT of yuumei diehards, so it's scary to even suggest that she did ANYTHING wrong lol I mean, someone compared one of my pieces to her own. I was like "really???" and it's similar theme except hers has a dead bird, mine doesn't. In that case ANY bleeding angel would be a yuumei copy. Some ppl just don't know how to comment >.> but I avoid shitstorms lol

yeah, it's not original in its own right, I make it my own by applying certain elements or change the pose. I find that it emulates what I feel at certain times so I have to use the naked angel
