Description
First rough concept of Max for my Red Knight project.He's a few years older in this storyline.
And his personality's become more mellow, chilled out since the days of traveling with his siblings.
Think silent JRPG protagonist who gets shit done, if you will.
YEAH I KNOW, he looks too much like Elsword.
Sully from Fire Emblem Awakening was also an inspiration for his design.
I just really like characters with monochromatic red color schemes okay.
Will continue updating his design and making it a bit more unique.

Yeah, he fights with a sword.
The whole "demon" thing is a concept I'm messing around with atm.
I just like skulls, horns, evil-looking fire design motifs.
Still in the "keep the pressure low, have fun" stage of this project.
Who knows, maybe he made a pact with a demon in exchange for power
or some other cliche anime shit.

Well you know, the whole "pact with a demon in exchange for power" is a wonderful plot device. The demon needs to be interesting. Need to know if the deal is a good thing or a bad thing. How does it effect people around him. etc etc.
I loved how it worked out in Ghibli's version of "Howl's Moving Castle." Calcifer wasn't inherently evil, but the whole thing wasn't good for Howl.
